Doo and I discussed various things about Japanese culture today after our reading.  Kimonos, chopsticks, eating on the floor/pillows, origami, haiku and more were briefly discussed.  Doo also got to see her name in Japanese:

We looked over a printable book from Enchanted Learning about Japan and then she made a paper doll (with Mama’s help) wearing a kimono.
