A Weekend of Japanese Gardens

Since we are reading A Pair of Red Clogs, this weekend we went on three field trips to Japanese Gardens in our city. Saturday, along with Daddy, we went to The Huntington Library and Descanso Gardens to view their gardens. Today, Doo and I went to the Japanese Garden closer to our home. We had only been to The Huntington’s before so it was a bit of an adventure.

Oh how beautiful! When I was a little girl in California we used to visit the Japanese gardens and I remember how much I loved it. The koi were my favorite parts.
